Eoseungsaengak Trail

Eoseungsaengak (Eoseungsaeng Volcanic Cone), a parasitic volcano of Hallasan Mountain, can be climbed from the Eorimok District of Hallasan Mountain National Park. It takes about an hour round trip from Eorimok to the top of Eoseungsaengak Peak. The hiking trail is made of log stairs, and the floor is laid with wide wooden boards as a measure to prevent soil loss at the summit. At the beginning of the trail, there is a sign that reads "Eoseungsaengak Hiking Trail"
Eoseungsaengak is a favorite Oreum for visitors who want to climb lightly. Its natural state is well preserved and is used as a natural learning trail. On a clear day, you can see Chujado Island, Biyangdo Island, and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak in the distance, and it is about 1.3km to the top. The tour takes about 30 minutes one way, and the entrance is next to the Eorimok Visitor Information Center.
