Topkapı Palace served as the seat of the Ottoman Empire for over 380 years, housing 24 of the 36 Sultans who ruled the vast lands. The palace complex includes various buildings and courtyards such as a treasury, apartments, bathhouses, harems, an armory, and a holy relics section.
