Then we’ll head to the area’s focal point, Galata Tower. Considered one of the symbols of Istanbul, this historic monument was also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List in 2013. It is thought to be one of the oldest towers in the world, dating back to 500 AD.

Once there, we’ll explore two of Istanbul’s oldest neighborhoods, Fener and Balat, checking out the colorful streets, and historic houses, and catching glimpses of the local life and atmosphere before heading to the Spice Bazaar, where we’ll wander around the bustling aisles before we end the tour.
