- Located about 70 kilometers northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels are a complex network of underground tunnels stretching over 250 kilometers. They were constructed by the Viet Minh and later by the Viet Cong during the Indochina War and the Vietnam War. These tunnels served not only as hiding spots, living quarters, and combat zones, but also stand as a vivid testament to the courage, resilience, and ingeniousness of the Vietnamese people.
- Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels offers an opportunity to experience a unique historical space and to learn about the underground life during the fierce years of war. You will get to explore the shelters, Hoang Cam kitchens, food storage, infirmaries, and even the creatively made booby traps.
