Menjangan Island, also known as Deer Island, is located in the northwest corner of Bali, within the Taman National Bali Barat park. Many divers agree that the island has some of the healthiest and most spectacular coral reefs and wall dives in Bali. The visibility of the water is generally excellent, and the weather conditions are mild, making the island suitable for all levels of divers and snorkelers.
Menjangan Island is a protected marine reserve famous for its spectacular underwater walls. The dive sites on the island are especially impressive due to the numerous Gorgonian sea fans where you can find Pygmy seahorses. Turtles are also regular visitors.
