The Sacred Valley near Cuzco, Peru is home to numerous top attractions. During a 4-day tour from Cuzco, focus on some of the area's top cultural and natural highlights. These include the town of Chinchero, famous for its textiles; the round installations at the Moray Incan archaeological site; the Maras salt pools, which are still farmed by locals; the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site; the scenic train ride to reach the Incan citadel of Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and day hikes to Lake Humantay and Rainbow Mountain, also known as Cerro Colorado Vinicunca in the local Quechua language. These destinations offer breathtaking natural beauty and a glimpse into the region's rich cultural heritage.
