The trail is part of the Table Mountain National Park and is home to a diverse range of endemic flora. The route is mostly along well-trodden hiking trails with exceptional views of Cape Town, Table Mountain, and Lion's Head. With little positive gradient and a maximum running distance of 10 to 12 kilometers, this trail run is very friendly. .
