From Muong Phang to the top of Pu To Co is about 3 hours of walking. It is a trekking journey that promises to bring many emotions, when you can hear historical stories and majestic landscapes of the northwestern mountains and forests.
Pu To Co Peak – Dien Bien is a significant historical site, where the observation post for the 1954 Dien Bien Phu Campaign was located. From this vantage point, Vietnamese commanders monitored the battlefield and made crucial strategic decisions. Situated over 1,700 meters above sea level, the peak not only holds historical value but also captivates visitors with its majestic Northwest landscape, offering panoramic views of the Muong Thanh Valley and the former battleground.
