Then we’ll head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the famous network of underground passageways used during the Vietnam War and Tet Offensive. After learning about the significance of the tunnels, we’ll head back to the city and stop for a delicious local lunch before heading to the War Remnants Museum. Up next is the striking Independence Palace. Also known as the Reunification Hall, this famous landmark was once the home and office of the past presidents of Vietnam. Our last stop of the day is just across the cathedral at the Central Post Office. This is another building built with a heavy French influence and is known for its striking structure, sweeping ceilings, and many souvenir-selling vendors.
