The Colosseum is one of the world's most famous landmarks, but many visitors miss out on the rich history when they visit alone. To make the most of your visit, consider exploring the ancient gladiatorial arena with a guide. You'll hear stories about Rome's imperial heyday and gain a deeper understanding of the Colosseum's significance. Entrance tickets are included, and you can upgrade to include an additional tour of the nearby Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- Most travelers can participate
- You will need to pass through strict and mandatory security checks to enter the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Expect to wait 5 to 45 minutes to clear the security checks
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Trolleys and large backpacks are not allowed inside, neither are glass/metal bottles or sprays (e.g. perfumes etc.)
- Pets are not permitted
- Travellers younger than 18 years old must present a valid document or proof of ID
- You must be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts to complete the sign-up. We won't be able to accommodate late arrivals
- The Roman Forums and the Palatine Hill are not wheelchair accessible
- This tour is subject to inclement weather conditions. If it is cancelled you will have the option to either reschedule or get a full refund
- Drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden at the monuments
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 25 travelers

- After your official tour ends you can either use your tickets to visit the archeological area of the Roman Forums and Palatine Hill on your own or with a guided tour (choose the option you prefer during your booking).

- OPTIONALLY, you can join the guide to head towards the archeological area of the Roman Forums and Palatine Hill in another 1-hour guided tour. Choose this option during your booking.
- Here, you will immerse yourself in the ruins of ancient temples and will walk the paths of Emperors and Senators. Learn how this beautiful area became the beating heart of Ancient Rome.
- Hear about the Vestal Virgins and see their gardens and the pagan temple of the Goddess Vesta they served. Learn about the Basilica Julia and the penal system of Ancient Rome and its effects on Christianity. See the temple of Castor and Pollux and the Arch of Titus and learn about the sacking of Jerusalem.
