Today, it’s a tranquil space where history, culture, and nature come together. Stroll along tree-lined avenues, admire vibrant flowers, and discover centuries-old monuments surrounded by some of the oldest trees in South Africa.
On our visit, we’ll pause to enjoy a cup of local coffee paired with a traditional Cape Malay koeksister, before wandering through the gardens while learning about Cape Town’s rich past. With friendly squirrels, cultural landmarks, and a peaceful atmosphere, the Company’s Garden is more than just a park — it’s a living story of the city’s beginnings.

Next, step into the colourful Bo-Kaap, one of Cape Town’s most vibrant and historic neighbourhoods. Here, you’ll take part in an authentic hands-on Cape Malay cooking class, guided by a local host. Learn the art of folding samoosas, discover the secrets of fragrant spices, and taste the unique sweet-and-spicy flavours that define Cape Malay cuisine. Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the Bo-Kaap community, its traditions, and its rich cultural heritage — an unforgettable experience that blends food, history, and hospitality.
