However, fifty years ago, Marina Bay did not yet exist, and the area was just open sea by the mouth of the Singapore River. It was just an idea, a thought, a reverie... that is to be realized over the long arc of long-term planning. This is a journey that I will take you... come join me, to see how a city is transformed into an endearing place to live, work, and play.
