Ce vei face

This tour is a must in Istanbul. You will start the day by visiting the Roman Hippodrome, where chariot races were organized by the Romans and Byzantines. Next, you will visit the Blue Mosque, the only mosque with six minarets, and its surrounding area. After that, you will see the German Fountain, a gift of Kaiser Wilhelm II. You will also hear the stories of his liaison with the Orient. The highlight of this day will be the visit to Hagia Sophia, the Church of Divine Wisdom. Following the visits, your guide will take you to the Grand Bazaar for a demonstration of Turkish Handicrafts.

The Hippodrome of Constantinople was a circus that was the sporting and social centre of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire. Today it is a square named Sultanahmet Meydanı in the Turkish city of Istanbul, with a few fragments of the original structure surviving.
