On this tour, you'll visit the legendary Inca citadel of Machu Picchu after a 4-day trek. The trek takes you through the enigmatic Inca Trail, which connects the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu. During the trek, you'll explore numerous pre-hispanic ruins scattered along the Inca Trail, such as Puyupatamarca and Wiñay Wayna. The trail runs through the Andes mountain range, taking you through a variety of Andean ecosystems, including cloud forest and alpine tundra. The Inca Trail ends at the Sun Gate on Machu Picchu mountain, providing a unique view of the citadel during sunrise. The bus and train tickets to return to Cusco are included.

Inca Trail
  • We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 am. Then we will drive to Ollantaytambo town, located in the Sacred Valley, where we will have breakfast. After that, we will board a train to Km 82. On this spot the Inca Trail starts.
  • After walking for 4 hours, we will make a stop to have lunch. Then we will continue our trip until we reach the Ayapata Campsite, located at 3,300 m.a.s.l. (10,826 ft). Here we will have dinner and and prepare for the next day.
