With over 20 holiday markets scattered throughout the city, follow a knowledgeable guide through Munich's historic Old Town to discover the city's most festive offerings. Visit the famous Christkindlmarkt in Marienplatz, where you can shop for handmade Bavarian gifts, sip on Glühwein (mulled wine; not included in price), and indulge in Lebkuchen, the traditional gingerbread cookie that has been a local Christmas staple since the 14th century.
