Experience the black frozen lava fields of Mount Batur from a 4x4 with unobstructed 360’ views, a private guide and guaranteed departures rain or shine. 1 x morning tour & 1 x afternoon tour Daily
You'll see:
*A cave formed by a lava air pocket.
*Lava fields from different eruptions over the centuries.
*The Back Sands area
Time permitting:
*Local village life
*Caldera Point where you'll see Mount Batur, Mount Abang, Mount Agung, Lake Batur, Mount Rinjani on neighbouring Lombok island, and the Indian Ocean all from one view point.
*The bats. These bats are different, they don't life in a cave, and you can see them flying around.

Mount Batur
Durmak: 2 hours
In this tour we have the volcano in sight the whole time as we cross the frozen black lava, go through the black sands area, across to Caldera Point where you'll see Mount Batur, Mount Abang, Mount Agung, Lake Batur, the Indian Ocean, and across to Lombok, where on a non cloudy day you can see Mount Rinjani in the distance.
After here we go to the Kintamani Bats on a cliff. These bats don't hide in a cave, even though there are caves close by; this means you'll be able to see the bats close up. Literally millions of them.
