Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngũ Hành Sơn District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).
All of the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels, and it is possible to climb to the summit of Mount Thuy. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a tourist destination.
The area is known for stone sculpture making and stone-cutting crafts. Direct rock extraction from the mountains was banned recently. Materials are now being transported from quarries in Quảng Nam Province.Read moreMore about The Marble Mountains

Hoi An Ancient Town
Durmak: 2 hours
The Hoi An Old Town or Hoi An Ancient Town, as it is often called, is Hoi An’s most prominent attraction. Historically it was a trading port dating back to the fifteenth century: an important stop on the Silk Road and the most popular place to trade in Asia. Today, it has morphed into a retailing center that draws heavily from the traditional artisanship of the past, especially with clothes and leather goods.Read moreMore about Hoi An Ancient Town

Lady Buddha
Durmak: 60 minutes
Lady Buddha is the Goddess of Mercy who is believed to see, hear and sympathize cries of people in the world. Her right hand holds a water vase, containing nectar of life and a willow branch in her left hand, used to sprinkle the nectar on the prayers. For fishers, she also is a patron saint who follows, gives fortune and saves them on the sea. That’s why they come to pray before setting sail. Standing on a blooming lotus, this perfect depiction faces the city, aiming to shelter its citizens from disasters. Locals have been believing that since her presence, typhoons don’t hit their hometown. In a wider view, as a part of the third Linh Ung Pagoda, itself and two other temples in Ba Na Hills and Marble Mountains, create a triangle. Once again, that “fences” bad things to locals.
