- Flying over Reykjavik by helicopter offers a completely new perspective on Iceland’s colorful capital. From the air, the city’s patchwork of red, blue, and green rooftops comes alive against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding mountains. Iconic landmarks such as Hallgrímskirkja church, the Harpa Concert Hall, and the Sun Voyager sculpture stand out clearly from above, while Faxaflói Bay stretches into the distance with its scattered islands.
- On a clear day, you can spot Mount Esja rising just beyond the city, and even the vast glaciers further inland. The contrasts of urban life, coastline, and wild nature make Reykjavik an especially stunning sight from the sky.
