Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the train station, where we will begin our journey to Km. 104 (2,250 m.a.s.l.), the starting point of our adventure along the legendary Inca trail.
We will visit the archaeological center of Chachabamba (2,270 m.a.s.l.) at the beginning of the route. We will continue ascending until we reach the archaeological complex of Wiñayhuayna (2,650 m.a.s.l.), the most impressive site of this section, surrounded by a dreamlike subtropical mountain landscape. Our journey will then take us through Inti Punku, the majestic Sun Gate (2,780 m.a.s.l.), from where we will have our first panoramic view of Machu Picchu.
We will descend to the archaeological park of Machu Picchu (2,400 m.a.s.l.), culminating our 6-hour hike. Finally, we will take a bus to Aguas Calientes (2,050 m.a.s.l.), where we will enjoy a night's rest in a comfortable hotel.
