This group service tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel and a journey to Chinchero, a small rustic town with a long tradition of textile weaving. You'll see various textiles woven with traditional Incan techniques. Next, you'll visit the Moray agricultural terraces, built along the hillsides by the Incas to grow an abundance of crops. Right next to this area, at Maras, there are over 4000 salt ponds, used for a long time by our ancestors. After that, you'll make your way to Urubamba, where you'll enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, you'll visit the historical town of Ollantaytambo, where you'll climb over 200 steps to reach the top of the ancient terraced fortress that overlooks the town. After visiting Ollantaytambo, the tour guide will drop you off at the train station or main square of Ollantaytambo around 3:30 pm.
