Natural History Museum

• Having met your guide just outside this marvellous museum, which is also a working research centre, you will start your exploration of an exhibition which invites visitors to enjoy as well as learn about the natural world. Winner of first prize for Best Free Activities and Best for Learning categories at the 2018 Hoop Awards, the museum boasts around 70 million exhibits across its five main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, paleontology and zoology.

Other items not to be missed (and which your guide will make sure you don't miss) include the Marine Reptile Fossils, the Jurassic sea crocodiles, a breathtaking 25.2-metre-long blue whale skeleton, a giant sequoia tree and a fantastic range of stuffed birds.
