Stopover at Roberton Island (Motuarohia) to do the short walking track to the lookout point over the Twin Lagoons before stepping back on board to continue further through the islands.
Take in spectacular coastal scenery and keep an eye out for local wildlife, including dolphins, seals, penguins, and seabirds that are often spotted along the way.
Travelling along the Cape Brett Peninsula, we make our way out to the iconic Hole in the Rock and Cape Brett Lighthouse.
Weather and sea conditions permitting, experience the thrill of cruising through the famous natural sea arch while enjoying breathtaking views of the rugged coastline.
Making our way back towards the outer islands, we will make a second island stopover in a sheltered bay where you can make the most of the crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a beachside lunch, use our complimentary snorkelling equipment, go for a swim, walk the island trails or simply unwind on the beach.
Once we have finished at our second stopover, we cruise back through the Bay of Islands, relax and enjoy the scenery while your crew point out local landmarks and share more stories about this remarkable part of New Zealand.

- CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS: If you are arriving in Waitangi Wharf, the cruiseship provides FREE shuttle buses for cruise ship guests to transfer you into Paihia (5 minute bus ride)
- The bus will drop you off outside the Paihia Wharf. Check-in at PIER 10
- Cruise-ship guests need to insure their travel insurance covers them in the unlikely event that the cruise-ship does not stop in port, as we are unable to refund in these situations.

Visitors on a boat cruise are treated to the unique opportunity to sail through this picturesque opening in the rock, creating a memorable and breathtaking experience amidst the pristine beauty of the Bay of Islands. ***Cruising out to The Hole in the Rock is weather dependent. If conditions are not suitable, an alternative route will be taken within the shelter of the inner islands
Urupukapuka Island
Stopover on either Waewaetorea/Moturua/Urupukapuka Island (second island stop will be determined on the day) and take the opportunity for snorkelling, swimming, possibly another walk if you fancied or simply enjoying some beach time, relaxing and taking in the wildlife sanctuaries that are part of the Bay of Islands. The second stop is a great place to enjoy a picnic, either bring your own lunch or contact us directly to pre-order a packed lunch!
