Unlike traditional markets, the Maeklong Railway Market is set up directly on the train tracks. Vendors display their goods, such as fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables, and other local products, right on the ground where the train passes through. As the train approaches, vendors quickly retract their awnings and move their goods to make way for the train. It's a thrilling and unusual sight to see a bustling market transform into a clear path for a passing train within seconds.

Recommend: The early morning trip at 5:50 am and 6:30 am will be less touristy and more time at both markets.
