A Note from the Founders
We didn't start BookTourX to build just another travel OTA platform.
It all started when we kept meeting incredible tour guides and small tour operators who loved what they do — but felt squeezed by big OTAs. High commissions. Complicated onboarding. Slow payouts. Little control over their own business. Many of them told us the same thing: "We just want a fair way to reach more travelers and get paid on time."
At the same time, we heard from travelers who felt something was missing. Too many tours felt commercial. Large groups. Rushed schedules. Same attractions. Little connection with local people or culture — at premium prices.
That disconnect stayed with us.

We believe local experience providers are the heart of travel. They bring destinations to life and create authentic connections between travelers and the places they visit.
