Lunch
Explore the full itinerary for Sydney Parrots, a Unique Island and more in Sydney, Australia. This birdwatching tours experience includes 4 stops over 1 day. Duration: 9 hours. Activity level: Moderate.

We will take a boat to a unique island where there are no cars and people use wheelbarrows to cart their shopping from the ferry wharf to their homes and school children ride their bikes to the wharf to catch a ferry to school.

We will stop for lunch at Olympic Park, where the 2000 Olympics were held. Here, we will meet some of the local ibis (also known as bin chickens because they raid garbage bins). We will also visit a wetlands area where we may see some Sydney water birds.

In the afternoon, we will visit areas where many species of Sydney parrot make their homes.

Time permitting, we will head to another location to again look for more of Australian parrots and other native birds.
