Mantra is a precise combination of sacred sounds that form the core of spiritual energy that attracts high spiritual vibrations leading to spiritual awakening and empowerment.
This whole process is known as mulukat by the locals and is done to spiritually purify the mind and soul.
Melukat can be performed in all places considered sacred by the Balinese people, although the Mengening holy water temple is considered the most sacred place for this cleansing.
