Join our small group e-bike tour along the Appian Way and explore the ancient aqueducts. This unique tour also includes a visit to the catacombs and a food stop.

Tour Highlight

Join us on a unique cycling tour of the Appian Way, where you'll learn the origins of the phrase "all roads lead to Rome". You'll hop on an electric mountain bike or road bike and ride into the countryside. As you pedal along the "Queen of Roads", you'll enjoy zero foot or vehicle traffic on ancient Roman aqueducts. On your journey, you'll pass by or stop at sites like the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella and the remains of the Aqua Claudia and Aqua Felix waterways, plus pause for a countryside lunch.

  • To partecipate to the tour you need good cycling experience.
  • The food stop can change due to holidays or special events.
  • Not accessible for children under 12 years
  • May be operated by a multilingual guide
  • If the Catacombs of Saint Callixtus or Catacombs of Saint Sebastian are closed we go to the Catacombs of Domitilla
