Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu is an Inca city surrounded by temples, platforms and water channels, built on the top of a mountain. Its construction was built with large blocks of stone joined together, without the use of amalgam. It is considered a cultural heritage of humanity as it is recognized as an important political, religious and administrative center of the Inca period.
In order to visit Machu Picchu, Inca Rail has three starting points: The San Pedro stations in Cusco, Poroy and Ollantaytambo from which you can board the train of your choice bound for the Machu Picchu Pueblo station.
Likewise, it offers its Bimodal service which combines a trip in the exclusive bus, departing from Av. El Sol 843 to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Available all year round. Between January and April it is suggested to leave with the Bimodal service because due to weather conditions it will not be possible to leave from the San Pedro and Poroy train stations.
