After picking you up from your accommodation in Cape Town, we will start our tour in the vibrant heart of the city on Adderley Street. Here, you'll encounter several historical monuments, including Bartholomew Dias, Jan van Riebeeck, and the Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir. We will embark on a brief walking tour to learn about the significance of these important landmarks.

As one of the oldest buildings in South Africa, the Castle of Good Hope stands as a historical landmark that remains open to visitors. It showcases significant historical events that occurred within its walls, dating back 350 years. The experience includes the Key Ceremony and the Canon Firing, both of which are highlights of your visit.

Upon arriving in the Bo-Kaap, we will pause for a photo opportunity in front of the historic colorful houses. (Please stay close to your tour guide and keep your belongings with you at all times.) Once known as the Cape Malay Quarter, this vibrant area offers you the chance to purchase Malay spices and sample delicious Malay foods such as samosas, melktert (milk tart), and koeksisters (at your own expense). Your tour guide will share intriguing stories about the history of these iconic houses.

After exploring the Bo-Kaap, we will head to the Noon Gun. Here, we will uncover the fascinating Big Bang story of the Noon Gun, a historical time signal in Cape Town that has been in operation since 1806, located on the lower slopes of Signal Hill. You'll be treated to breathtaking views of Table Bay, the city center, the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island, and Table Mountain from this stunning vantage point.

After visiting the Noon Gun, we will head to Afrogem Jewellery, where you'll enjoy a walking tour of the jewelry factory to observe how exquisite African jewelry is crafted. Visitors will also have the chance to explore the showroom floor, showcasing timeless pieces featuring fine gemstones. Afrogem has something for everyone looking to take a piece of Africa home with them.

The tour concludes with a visit to Table Mountain, where we will take the Cable Car to the summit. At the top, visitors will enjoy a guided tour of the mountain, offering a unique perspective of Cape Town.
