The Hippodrome of Istanbul, also known as Sultan Ahmet Square, was an ancient chariot racing arena. Built in the 4th century, it was the social and sporting center of the Byzantine Empire. Key landmarks include the Obelisk of Theodosius and the Serpent Column.

Blue Mosque
Stop: 30 minutes
The Sultan Ahmed Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque, is a historic mosque in Istanbul. Completed in 1616, it features six minarets and a large courtyard. It's famous for its blue tiles adorning the interior walls.
At Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, shorts above the knees and uncovered heads for women are not permitted. Women should carry a scarf for head covering.
