Ho Chi Minh is the great father of the Vietnamese nation. He sacrificed and dedicated his life to help Vietnam regain independence. The area of Ba Dinh Square is where Ho Chi Minh reads the independent declaration, giving birth to Vietnam. Currently, we have mausoleum Ho Chi Minh which is home to Uncle Ho's body for Vietnamese people as well as international friends to visit. Ho Chi Minh museum displays exhibits related to Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnam War. Surrounding the mausoleum are bamboo trees, which are typical for Vietnamese villages, and also what Vietnamese people use to make weapons and traps during the war.

Built in 1886 by the French, this church bears Gothic architecture and is considered a miniature version of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
