Sapa Hiking & Trekking Itinerary (2026 Guide) – What You'll See & Do
Explore the full itinerary for Sapa The Hidden Trail Trek 1 Day - Mountain & Rice Valley in Sapa, Vietnam. This hiking & trekking experience includes 4 stops over 1 day. Duration: 6 hours. Activity level: Light.
Here is the starting point
Ham Rong Mountain
- At 9:00am our guide will come to pick you up at your Hotel or the guide will meet you at Sapa Church. Then will give you a brief about the program information.
- Starting from the center of Sapa town, you will take a small trail hike up through corn farm to Mountain, after 1.5 hours we you reach to Dragon Jaw Mountain ( 1,900m ). There you will have the opportunity to see all of Sapa town and Muong Hoa rice valley one of the most beautiful valley in Vietnam.
- You will feel like you are in harmony with nature, walk through the hidden high trails in small forests and hills, if you're lucky, the weather will be nice you can capture extremely beautiful and majestic moments of the sea of clouds. More specifically you can see the highest mountain ( Fansipang ) roof of indochina from Dragon Jaw Mount.

Hang Dá Village
- Hang Da village in Sapa is a village of the H'Mong people, notable for its natural beauty and rich culture. This place has huge rocks. From Ban Hang Da, you can also see the majestic panorama of the Sapa mountains with mountains and terraced fields.
- Hang Da it is also a place for us to stop and have lunch and enjoy local dishes. We'll have about 1 hour for lunch.Read moreMore about Hang Dá Village
Hau Thao
After the lunch we will continue trek to Hau Chu Ngai village taking an extremely beautiful village roads and short bamboo forest trails to get down to Giang Ta Chai village where you can meet and see the local daily life. On the way you have the chance look at the houses scattered around the valley and the extremely majestic terraced fields from above.Read moreMore about Hau Thao
Giang Ta Chai Village
Here is a small village of Black H'mong and Zed Dao people, you will visit a small museum, the local guide will show you about local traditional clothes, cultures and local custom.
