What you'll do
Explore Sekinchan’s lush paddy fields, visit a rice factory, make a wish at the iconic tree, and enjoy fresh seafood by the beach.
Tour Highlight
A scenic drive along the coaster road will bring us to Sekinchan, cuts through the town and you will see vast expanses of paddy field in the middle of the village. We will visit one of the many rice factories located beside the paddy fields. Later Proceed to the fishing village there are many colorful fishing trawlers parking by the river. Continue our tour to the windy Redang Beach.

- For green fields, go in March/April (until mid-May) and September/October (until mid-November).
- If you want to see golden paddy fields, you should plan your trip around the end of May and November.
- Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes

- This tour is not private and may include other guests
- No eating or drinking is allowed inside the car/van/buses. Food can easily become messy, or someone might bump into you, having you spill your drink or squash your food, letting it fall to the floor.
- This SIC itinerary vehicle is arranged according to the number of participants on the day (car/van/bus)
- Please make sure your mobile phone number is active and able to contacted during the travel period
- It is recommended that you make preparations to prevent if you have motion sickness, so as not to affect your pleasant journey.

- During major festivals, there will be road closures and traffic jams. The return journey can only be sent to the drop-off point closest to the hotel according to the road conditions that day. The specific location will be determined by the driver at that time. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

Journey to Sekinchan (Approx. 1.5 Hours)

Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside as you head toward the charming farming town of Sekinchan.

Take in the gorgeous view of the verdant paddy fields and if you are lucky, spot migratory birds from Sumatra soaring through the air.
Stop: 30 minutes
Marvel at the lush green (or golden, depending on season) paddy fields stretching across the landscape. Keep an eye out for migratory birds from Sumatra if you're lucky!

Rice Mill Visit - Check out one of the many rice mills in the village and get a brief introduction to paddy planting and rice production.

Stop by a local rice mill to learn about the rice production process, from planting to packaging. Gain insight into Sekinchan’s role as one of Malaysia’s rice-producing hubs.

Bagan Fishing Village - Have a look at the jetty and the colorful fishing boats. You might even get to see fisherfolk bringing in their catch of the day!

Visit the colorful fishing village of Bagan. Walk along the jetty, observe the fishing boats, and possibly watch the fishermen unload their fresh catch of the day.

Redang Beach - Set foot on the nearby breezy Pantai Redang (Redang Beach) and see its famous wishing tree before traveling back to Kuala Lumpur.

Take a relaxing stroll on Pantai Redang and visit the famous Wishing Tree. Tie a red ribbon with your wish and toss it onto the tree—an iconic local tradition.
