Experience the ultimate afternoon tour on Mt Wellington, also known as kunanyi.
What you'll do
Our specially designed kunanyi/Mt Wellington Ultimate Experience will provide you with the best possible experience on the Mountain. On a clear day, the views are stunning. In winter, you might even get to play in the snow.
As we make our way through various eco systems and experience an alpine environment, you'll have the opportunity to take in the views from the Western Wilderness viewing deck, which offers a glimpse into one of the last true wilderness areas on the planet.
On the descent from the mountain, we'll make brief stops at the Cascade Gardens and outside the remains of the Female Convict prison - The Female Factory.

Mount Wellington
Witness amazing views of Hobart and surrounds from the summit. On our descent from the mountain enjoy a short easy walk around the amazing Exhibition Gardens at the midway point "The Springs." There's also time to purchase a hot drink.
Cascades Female Factory Historic Site
View the exterior of Australia's most significant historical sites for women. The Female Factory was the female equivalent to Port Arthur and was used to hold both women and children throughout the 1820's. It was a terrible place with only the most basic of facilities. Some ruins of the original building and walls still exist. Your driver guide will provide a brief history of this fascinating place.
Mount Wellington
Join our escorted short tour of the Observatory on the summit of Mt Wellington and a self-guided tour to the Western Wilderness Lookout to view one of the last true wilderness areas on the planet!
Cascade Gardens
Visit one of the City's classic gardens, The Cascade Gardens which lies against the Hobart Rivulet near the historic Cascade Brewery.
