Explore the stunning Port Stephens, just a short drive from Newcastle. Enjoy whale watching, hiking, and marveling at the towering sand dunes. It's an unforgettable adventure!

What you'll do

Enjoy a day out of Newcastle and explore the natural beauty of Port Stephens. We'll pick you up and drop you back off to your accommodation.

On this day tour, you'll begin with an exhilarating one-hour mountain hike with an impressive summit view as a reward. (Suitable for most people, an alternate flat walk along the coastline is also an option.)

After working up an appetite, we'll indulge in delectable seafood against the backdrop of mesmerizing ocean vistas. The seafood is fresh and portion sizes are massive! (Lunch at own cost.)

Next, you'll set sail to encounter the migration of over 35,000 majestic humpback whales, plus you may even run into some dolphins, seals, and birdlife on this 3-hour boat ride.

As we commence the return trip home, we'll make a stop so you can marvel at a unique viewpoint showcasing the largest moving coastal sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere, combined with sunset, it makes for a picture
