Experience the tranquility of Australia's only Everglades. This unique network of wetlands showcases ancient landscapes and offers breathtaking photo opportunities.

Located in the Northern end of the Noosa River system, the Everglades are nestled within the sand dunes of the Cooloola National Park.

This pristine wilderness area is home to over 44% of Australia's bird species. The fresh water pulses out of the Cooloola Sandmass and filters through the tea tree infused ecosystem into this unique river system.

Choose to experience the Everglades in the comfort of our specially designed eco boats or grab a paddle and jump in a canoe for one of the best canoeing adventures in Australia.

Guests must be ready and waiting 5 minutes prior to their scheduled bus pickup time. Seats are limited so if you wish to be collected by shuttle bus, but unsure of the closest pickup point to your accommodation please select stop 0. Please call reception on 07 5485 3348 at least 48 hrs prior to your tour date, who will adjust your selection accrodingly and confirm you pickup time/location.

Additional Information

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • Please bring swimwear, towel (should you wish to swim), sunglasses, water bottle, hat and sunscreen
  • No previous experience is necessary
  • All canoe participants must be seven years or older and have the ability to swim.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 36 travelers
