What you'll do

Join us on an exclusive adventure to see kangaroos in their natural habitat, followed by breakfast and a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park.

We'll start by visiting a secret location where you'll get up close and personal with a mob of kangaroos. You'll see them grazing contentedly in an idyllic setting.

Next, we'll head to Featherdale Wildlife Park, where you'll get to see a wide range of Australia's unique native animals, including kangaroos, koalas, and more.

To cap off your day, we'll take a serene river cruise along the Parramatta River, where you'll get to see the beautiful waterside suburbs and iconic landmarks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.

Important note: Kangaroos are wild animals, so there is no guarantee of kangaroo sightings on the day of your tour.

Pickup detailsYou will be picked up from your Sydney Hotel or other central location within 3km of the city centre. Your tour ends at the Sydney Olympic Park ferry terminal when you catch the public ferry back to Circular Quay. You will then need to make your own way back to your hotel, cruise ship or airport. You will need to load and unload your own luggage. Our tour guides are not professional porters and under Work, Health and Safety regulations are not permitted to lift heavy bags.

We first visit a secret location to see a mob of kangaroos, grazing contentedly in an idyllic setting within the heart of Sydney’s western suburbs. We’ll get there nice and early before the heat of the day sends them off to sit in the shade of a eucalyptus tree.

Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park

Escape into the heart of Australia's natural wonders at Featherdale Wildlife Park. Nestled just outside Sydney, this enchanting sanctuary offers an unforgettable encounter with native wildlife.
Wander through the natural bush landscapes as kangaroos hop freely, koalas doze in eucalyptus trees, and colourful birds fill the air with their melodies. Get up close for a photo with a cuddly koala (koala encounter photo included) and meet friendly free ranging kangaroos for a truly immersive experience. With over 1700 furry and fierce Australian animals on site, you need to find out what will cuddle you, what will feed you and what will kill you!

Sydney Olympic Park

On the return to Sydney, hop aboard the local ferry and take a trip back down the Parramatta River and skip the traffic!
Your guide sees you onto the public ferry just near the Olympic Park, and you will cruise along the river, pass underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House, before disembarking at the vibrant dining area of Circular Quay, just in time for an early lunch and exploration. You will then need to find your own way back to your hotel.
