The trekking route is approximately 7 km long and takes around 2-3 hours to complete. The route is considered moderate to challenging due to the steep inclines and uneven terrain.
What you'll do
Book your ticket in advance to get the experience of a local guide in their field. Meet your local guide at 3:30 AM. With your local guide, climb up to the highest viewpoint from which to watch the sunrise over Bali—a worthy reward for your efforts. After you arrive at the top, you will have breakfast and take in the amazing views of the sunrise and the surroundings. You will have time to walk around the crater before crossing a hill of lava and black sand before returning to the bottom. .
