Puseh Batuan Temple

Batuan Temple is a local Balinese Hindu temple looked after by the local resident of Batuan countryside. The temple is designed very beautiful with full of Balinese ornaments and the roof temple building is made from the fiber of chromatic black palm tree. It is strategically located beside of the main road from Denpasar to Ubud.

Celuk Village

The village of Celuk, located approximately 4km southwest of the Sukawati District, is also Bali’s major centre for goldsmiths and silversmiths. The main road of Jalan Raya Celuk is lined up with galleries and workshops. The village is usually an included stopover on tour itineraries to the central and northern regions such as Ubud and Kintamani. The village of Celuk is also a link between Bali’s Batubulan-Mas-Sukawati-Ubud ‘golden pentacle’ of artisans and craftsmen.

Tohpati Village

Tohpati Village is just about 12 kilometers from Kuta, and famous for Bali's Batik Wand Weaving Center. Batik is a traditional form of painting fabric. They painstakingly use dots and lines from wax to decorate the cloth. It is very impressive to watch. Tohpati Village is a Batik home industry, you will undoubtedly experience an overwhelming stimulation of the senses – due to the many colors, patterns and the actual smell of batik. Only through repeated visits and a bit of study will the types of designs and their origins become apparent.

Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

This monkey forest is right located in the hearth of Ubud Village. There are about 1053 monkeys living in this area. They are divided into 5 groups: in front of the main temple, Michelin, eastern, central, and cemeteries. These monkeys are believed as Gods Guard of Dalem Agung Temple.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace

Rice Field in Ubud at Tegalalang is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. This view alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.
