Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple
Descend 315 steps through jungle-clad valleys to discover Bali’s "Valley of Kings." You’ll stand before 7-meter-tall rock-cut shrines carved in the 11th century, learning how ancient royals were memorialized here. The riverside setting and moss-covered ruins make for breathtaking photos.
Yeh Pulu Temple
Explore hidden 14th-century rock carvings tucked away in the jungle. Unlike crowded temples, you’ll have quiet time to admire these 25-meter-long storytelling panels depicting Balinese village life. Your guide decodes the rarely seen scenes of hunters, dancers, and mythical beasts.
Elephant Cave
Enter through a fearsome carved demon mouth into a 9th-century meditation cave. You’ll see ancient bathing pools with fertility statues and learn how this site served both Hindus and Buddhists. The jungle courtyard, with its giant banyan trees, feels straight out of an adventure film.
Tegenungan Waterfall
End your day with a refreshing swim at this powerful 15-meter cascade (or snap photos from the viewing decks). Your guide knows the best angles to avoid crowds while you cool off in turquoise pools surrounded by tropical greenery.
