Overview

About

  • Discover another side of Auckland as you leave the city behind and head through the vineyards and countryside of Kumeū before continuing to the wild west coast.
  • Your first stop is Kumeu River Wines, where you'll enjoy a cellar door tasting and have the chance to try some of their renowned Chardonnay. From there, continue to Soljans Estate, a fifth-generation family-owned winery. Go behind the scenes on a winery tour and see a little of what goes into making their wines, before settling in for a tasting of five wines with a cheese board.
  • Then it's on to Muriwai, where you can stretch your legs with a walk along the famous black-sand beach and take in the rugged coastline and Tasman Sea.
  • This is a private experience, so it's just you, your group and your local guide throughout the tour. Travel in our comfortable Mercedes-Benz V-Class, enjoy the wineries at a relaxed pace and take the time to stop for photos and enjoy the scenery along the way.
