RETURN TO CUSCO The return from the city of Machupicchu requires absolute punctuality for the transportation organization, for which we will provide all the return details. We buy the train tickets usually for 2:55 pm so that you can arrive at 7:00 pm in the city of Cusco. Consider the time delay due to traffic in the city of Cusco. The return includes transportation and transfers; we will be pending any change or delay in transportation and train services.

  • Afterward, we will head to the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Urubamba, where we will enjoy a healthy and delicious lunch.
  • In the afternoon, we will go to Moray's ruins to contemplate the Incas' laboratory, where they experimented with agricultural production on the different levels of terraces. We will continue our tour through a farming field that will lead us to the mysterious salt mines of Maras; here, we will learn the process of making salt. We will continue our tour by visiting the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo. We will finish our first-day tour by taking the train that will take us to Machupicchu town.
