Here is the starting point
Cusco
Early in the morning, as agreed, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Ollantaytambo train station, from where we will head to Aguas Calientes.
Ollantaytambo
After an almost 2-hour journey from Ollantaytambo, we will arrive at the Aguas Calientes station, where our guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name.
Machu Picchu
- Then, we will go to the bus stop, where we will ascend for 30 minutes and 400 meters along a zigzagging path to reach the "Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu," also known as the "Lost City of the Incas."
- Upon arriving at the Machu Picchu citadel, we will begin the guided tour, accompanied by our guide. For approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will visit the most important sites in Machu Picchu.
Aguas Calientes
After the guided tour, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy your lunch at one of the many restaurants or, if you prefer, at the Sanctuary Lodge (lunch on your own). In the late afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, following the same route as on the way there.
