Join our small-group day tour to Machu Picchu, one of the most famous and mysterious sites in South America.

What you'll do

Take a one-day train trip to the breathtaking mountaintop Inca city of Machu Picchu on this small-group excursion, limited to just 10 guests. Feel like an explorer of yesteryear on the winding train trip through the scenic river valley leading to this ancient settlement. Then enjoy early access to this unforgettable 'Lost City of the Incas,' spending the next 2-3 hours exploring the site with your guide plus some time to wander on your own. You'll return to Cusco by train in the evening.

  • To begin our Machu Picchu Tour, we pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco and travel by private tourist van to Ollantaytambo, where we board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes. As we follow the Urubamba River, the changing landscapes, from snow-capped peaks to lush cloud forest, make the journey an experience in itself.
  • Upon arrival, our guide greets you and takes you to the bus station, where we ascend to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour, exploring its sacred temples, agricultural terraces, and royal quarters, while uncovering the mysteries of the Incas.
  • Later, we return by bus to Aguas Calientes town, where you’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, a private van takes you to Cusco, where we drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
