At the Drakenstein Lion Park, lions which had rescued from circuses and abuse can be seen. It is a wonderful opportunity to encounter the rare species of White Lions. The Chimpanzees at this reserve come from Tygerberg Zoo after its closure and were offered them a home for life.

The Spice Route is only a short distance from Fairview and it is recommended to stop here for lunch. There is a The Trading company and a coffee shop offering complimentary coffee which comes highly recommended).

Then it is the turn of mom and dad to experience Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate, savouring several wines and tasting various cheeses. Children are welcome to do a juice tasting and can watch the many goats on parade at the estate entrance.
