From Skeleton Gorge to the summit of Table Mountain.
What you'll do
Instead of rushing up Table Mountain in a cable car, take your time and immerse yourself in its natural beauty. This guided hike starts at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and climbs the lush eastern slopes of Table Mountain, passing through indigenous forest and along a small beach before reaching the highest point on Table Mountain.

Starting from the renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the route leads up the lush eastern slopes of Table Mountain. The first section passes through indigenous forest resembling tropical jungle, passing a small beach at the historical reservoirs, eventually topping out at the highest point on Table Mountain. From here, the route traverses the length of the famous tabletop summit to the upper cable station.
