Day 1

DAY 1 - BANGKOK - ARRIVAL. TRANSFER
Arrival at the airport in Bangkok. After collecting your baggage, go to GATE 3, where it will be waiting for you in our English Airport assistant.
Transfer to hotel with driver only. Attention the rooms are guaranteed starting from 14:00. Our Italian assistant awaits you in the Lobby or calls you for an appointment.
Rest of the day available for individual activities.

Day 2

Meeting with the guide and departure for this half-day tour of some of the main attractions of this metropolis.
It begins with the Royal Palace, founded in 1782, includes not only royal and throne rooms, but also numerous government offices and the famous Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It covers an area of 218,000 square meters and is surrounded by four walls, 1900 meters long. The palace was built after King Rama I ascended the throne. Before that, the royal palace and administrative center were located in Thonburi, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. For various reasons, the new king considered the former capital inadequate and decided to establish a new capital on the other side of the river

The first two buildings erected within the complex were the Dusit Haha Prasat Throne Hall and the Phra Maha Monthian.
It continues with the adjoining Wat Pho which is not only one of the most visited Buddhist temples in Bangkok, but is also the combination of history, medical science and educational institution. Officially christened Wat Prachetuphon Vimon Mangkararam, Wat Pho was founded during the 16th century and later became the Royal Temple of King Rama I of the Chakri dynasty. Located within the main ordination hall is the 46-meter sacred lying Buddha, whose feet are beautifully inlaid with mother-of-pearl, carved with sacred signs. Wat Pho is also known as "the nation's first public university" among Thais, thanks to 1,360 marble inscriptions on medical, historical and liberal sciences found throughout the temple where people can read and learn at any time . Marble inscriptions on medical sciences, anatomy and orthopedics are the origins of the traditional massage principles of Wat Pho Thai, which made Wat Pho a world famous site. The traditional service, nowadays, is also available at the nearby pavilion. in 2008, Wat Pho was named Memory of the UNESCO World (MOW) as a documentary heritage for Asia and the Pacific region.
The visits end with Wat Trimitr, this Buddhist temple near Bangkok Chinatown is famous for only one thing: the Golden Buddha. The story goes that in 1931 there was a restoration that took place in Wat Phraya Krai in the Yannawa district. The main statue of the Buddha, which was in concrete, was then transferred to Wat Trai Mitr, which was also undergoing a major renovation and expansion. Twenty years later, in 1955, when the structures were completed, the Buddha statue was moved to be set in one of the buildings. But the Buddha statue was too heavy and fell from the lifting crane and its cracked surface revealed the pure gold hidden inside. After flaking off the cement surface, the three-meter-high statue of the Buddha was unveiled. It had been made up of three tons of 18 carat gold during the ancient kingdom of Sukhothai, about 700-800 years ago. It is believed that the original Golden Buddha was covered with cement plaster to hide it from enemies during the Sukhothai-Ayutthaya disputes. Now it is the largest image of the Buddha in pure gold in the world, kept in the newly built stupa of new level.

Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew)

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel.
At 06: 30-07: 00 Meeting with the Italian Guide and departure for a nice day of visits in the nearby provinces of Song Khram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. Let's start with the Railway on the Railway Tracks (Hoop Rom Market), also commonly called the Siang Tai market (life-threatening). It is considered one of Thailand's fantastic attractions. Spread over a length of 100 meters, the market is located on the railway near the Mae Klong train station. It is a fresh market where seafood, vegetables, fresh fruit, fresh and dried foods, meat and other goods are sold.
The market is called a "life-threatening" market because its stalls are connected to the Mae Klong-Ban Laem railway, which is a short railway line that connects Mahachai and Mae Klong. Market vendors have umbrellas or canvases to protect themselves from the sun. The shelters stick in the railway where visitors walk and make their purchases. When the incoming train signal rings, chaos happens: the vendors will rush to close their parasols and their canvases, eliminating all the goods that obstruct the passage of the arriving train. Once past the train, the umbrellas and the canvases will be reopened and the goods will be placed again in their usual place next to the railway.
We then proceed to the Floating Market of Damnen Saduak, we arrive at the pier and with a long tail boat in about 30 minutes along the canals, we reach the Floating Market.
The Damnoen Saduak market in Ratchaburi is one of the most popular floating markets in Thailand. Every day many Thai and foreign tourists come here to shop, eat and absorb the atmosphere of Thailand's water markets built over 100 years ago. Damnoen Saduak is the straightest and longest canal in Thailand. The canal was built on a royal initiative because King Rama IV of Thailand wanted to connect the Mae Klong river with the Chinese river ways to support transport and trade. It took more than 2 years to dig, and was eventually completed under the reign of his successor King Rama V. The canal is 32 kilometers long and has more than 200 branches. The popularity of Damnoen Saduak's floating market grew to new heights in 1971 - 1973, when the river was full of peasants on their boats selling their goods. This trading system in the area is also used today.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Day 4

Meeting with the guide in Italian and departure for the discovery of the Ancient Capital of Thailand. Bang Pa In is reached by a short ride of about 60 kilometers (40 miles) north of Bangkok, along the banks of the Chaopraya River, Bang Pa In is one of the summer palaces of the Thailand Royal Family. The palace dates back to the seventeenth century, before the establishment of Bangkok as the capital, which then fell into disuse for a long time. All the buildings you visit date back to its rebirth, made possible by King Mongkut (Rama IV) in the nineteenth century. Today, the palace is rarely used, more for state ceremonies than as a royal summer residence. The building is very European in design. The buildings are arranged along an artificial ornamental pond. In what was formerly the public area of the building, the lake is a long rectangular pool, lines with formal plantations, The most obvious of the ornaments is a modern copy of a Khmer style.
Proceed with the Ayutthaya Historical Park, the city was founded in the year 1350 Ca. and became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai.
It flourished from the 14th to the 18th century, during which it became one of the largest and most cosmopolitan urban areas in the world and a center of diplomacy and global trade. Ayutthaya was strategically located on an island surrounded by three rivers that connected the city to the sea. This site was chosen because it was located above the Gulf of Siam tide as it existed at that time, thus preventing the attack of the city by the maritime warships of other nations. The location also helped protect the city from seasonal floods. The city was attacked and razed to the ground by the Burmese army in 1767 which burned it and forced the inhabitants to abandon it. The city was never rebuilt in the same position and today is known as a vast archaeological site.
Lying on the island framed by three significant rivers: Chao Phraya, Lopburi and Pasak. The remaining historical temples, palaces and architecture of the ancient kingdom of Ayutthaya are one of the most precious historical sites in Thailand. The area of 715 acres has been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1991 as it represents the era of one of the greatest kingdoms in Indochina history. Strengths include Wat Phra Si Sanphet temples, Wat Mongkhon Bophit, Wat Phra Mahathat, all easily accessible on foot.
After the temples, a beautiful cruise awaits us, with lunch served on board.
With the vehicle, we return to Bangkok to the pier of Wat Chong-Lom (Nonthaburi) where you will be welcome aboard the Grand Pearl Cruise Line. Here you will be served a sumptuous buffet lunch with a choice of varieties of oriental and western cuisines, while you will relax enjoying the charming scenery on the river of the kings. The ship will then head to Nonthaburi, passing the island of Koh Kred, where a large Mon community lives, before reaching the city of Bangkok.
Coffee will be served on board while you enjoy the enchanting views along the banks of the river such as the colorful Royal Barge House, Thammasart University, Sirirat Hospital, Royal Grand Palace and the graceful Aurora Temple, with its magnificent spire of 79 M., next to Wat Kallayanamitr, one of the most famous temples in the city.
At around 16:00. Arrival and landing at the pier of the River City shopping complex. Transfer to hotel with air-conditioned vehicle.
