River Kwai Bridge
Guine River Bridge is one of the most famous historical Attractions in North Beach.During the Second World War, King Tai promised to help the Japanese Imperial Army deploy in Thailand in order to avoid war, and the Japanese army used Allied prisoners of war to build railroads across the forests of the Tamil Mountains to provide supplementary supplies to the Japanese troops operating in Myanmar.A large number of Allied prisoners died in labor that year, which is a rather heavy historical memory.
The Guine River Bridge was originally a wooden bridge, which had long been destroyed during the war, and the rail bridge that is now seen, was later rebuilt, so far there are still daily trains passing.Standing on the bridge of the Guine River, watching the beautiful Guine River flowing underneath, it is difficult to imagine the intense war situation of the year, and more hope for world peace forever.

Take A Train On The Death Railway
In the Second World War, the Japanese forces forced the prisoners of war to build the Tamil Railway. The train runs on an empty wooden railway, on the side of the cliffs and on the side of the Guine River, which is amazing, while pressing the camera short door, more note the history of the underground railway.

Walk Along The Old Street of World War II
North Beach Old Town has a 100-year-old heritage walking old street, the predecessor of which was a bustling commercial trading area during the Second World War, as the town's focus shifted, now becoming a quiet, turning point.
Walking the old street is narrow, but along the road is very wonderful, with various styles of architecture, such as the traditional two-three-story street houses with Portuguese, Chinese and Thai characteristics, all witness to the Second World War, and the remaining centuries of building. To this day, there are many residents living in them, there are some buildings still retained in the early first floor is the storefront, the second floor above is the style of housing, continues to operate grocery stores, some old houses change to restaurants, cafes, the old furniture inside and the old style, taste good.
