About

Explore the grand private temples along the majestic Chao Phraya River on this 1-day adventure.

What you'll do

Take a ride along the Chao Phraya river to Bangkok's old city, or explore Rattanakosin. Along the way, you'll be entertained with insider stories of Bangkok's landmarks. When you arrive at the old city area, you'll visit some of our favorite, must-see temples: the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. You can extend your excursion to include a lovely Thai lunch and a visit across the river to the stunning Wat Arun, to round out your day. Your guide will return you back to the original meeting point at the end of the tour. Please note: long pants and short or long sleeve shirts are required for entry to the Royal Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Tank tops are not allowed. Proper footwear is also required. Sandals are ok with something around the heel, but flip flops are not allowed. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are never a bad idea for Bangkok weather!
