Join us for a unique Turkish coffee experience in Istanbul. We'll cook and taste coffee with locals in their homes, giving you a genuine taste of Turkish hospitality.
What you'll do
What makes Turkish coffee special? It's the culture surrounding it. Just like the British have their tea sessions, we have our Turkish coffee sessions.
Although there's a lot to be said about Turkish coffee, we want to keep it for the experience, without giving away too many spoilers.
We'll welcome you at our home to teach you how to make Turkish coffee, from its history and culture to its variety and how it's an everyday thing in our culture.
We'll teach you how to cook Turkish coffee, just like our mothers cooked for their guests for years.
We'll be cooking and tasting at least three Turkish coffee types. Menengiç, Dibek, Mırra, Sütlü Türk kahvesi are some of the Turkish coffee types.
During the experience, you'll also learn about crazy interesting Turkish coffee customs in our history. These stories will make you feel like you're a part of the culture as well, and that will be our biggest goal for the experience
